The months keep creeping by and I'm getting that much closer to releasing the first few books in the series. I just finished my edits for Doria Falls and I'm on my final read through of Provex City. My proofreader sent back Le7el today and I forwarded her SUSY Asylum. So there you have it. That's where I'm at in the process of getting the Lorne Family Vault out to the world.
About a week ago, I got all the finishing touches put on the new book covers and received the cover for Le7el. I'm very happy with the way it came out and want to again thank Karri Klawiter for all of her hard work and providing me with such awesome covers.
The newest song I'm obsessed with is Dreams by Beck. I've always respected Beck as an artist, but have never been much of a fan. This song has made me a fan. I'm adding it to the soundtrack for my next book. Put on some headphones, crank up the volume, and let the sonic layers and sweet melodies take you away. Happy writing.
The cover is awesome! Can't wait to see the others.
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing to go back and see how far we've come as writers.
I'll be interested to see what you think of Dragon NaturallySpeaking. I had one other author recommend using it.
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful cover for Le7el!
ReplyDeleteNice cover! Starting a new project is fun!
ReplyDeleteThe cover is fantastic! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteLove the cover. It's awesome. Congrats!
ReplyDeleteOh that's interesting you are using Dragon to write your book. I work with Dragon on almost a regular basis but don't use it for my own writing. My work is in assistive technology so a lot of the time, it's something we go to when a person without arms or hand movement wants to control their computer better.
ReplyDeleteCool cover and congrats on creeping closer to publication. Let me know when you're ready. I'm always happy to give a shoutout.
ReplyDeleteI tried dragon for writing, but I edit more than write. I found licorice root tea to be godsend for my sore hands and arms.
Congrats on starting a new book. It's awesome that you learned so much from writing your first book and now you are reading about writing to prepare even more for your next. Can I just say that it'd be great if you could share some of the things you've learned or the books you are reading for us non-published authors? So far I haven't found any books on writing that I think are truly helpful to me. :(
ReplyDeleteYou're getting so much done. I'm feeling a little envious.
ReplyDeleteMichael. My birthday buddy. The cover. Ah-mazzzzzing. Love it. So proud of everything you're doing!!!!!! And I've missed your blog. Glad to be back in blogosphere. :)
