Provex City Tour Winners & Reflections

January is coming to an end. The Provex City tour was a busy, but great way to start the year. I was so excited with all the warm receptions Provex City received on the tour stops, and this is still the beginning. I'd like to once again thank all the blogs that participated in the tour and to Candace @ CBB Book Promotions for putting it all together. I was so nervous about the tour at the beginning of the month, and now I can't wait until the next one. But first I need to finish editing SUSY Asylum, so I can submit it to Createspace, then I can really start thinking about a second tour. I did get the manuscript back from my proofreader, so now it's just up to me to give it one more read through.

SUSY Asylum Cover Reveal!

I've been waiting for this day for months...and today I get to finally reveal the cover to my second book, the second book in the Lorne Family Vault series, SUSY Asylum! Provex City Blog Tour: Final Week!

Monday is here again. I hope you've had a great weekend and ready for another exciting week. I had a busy weekend of celebrations for my daughter's first birthday. It was so exciting and I can't believe it's been a whole year.

I want to put my tour on hold for a minute to share the cover reveal for Julie Flanders debut novel, Polar Night. Visit Julie's blog for all things Polar Night and make sure you get your copy when it come out on February 7th. That's right, it's only a little over two weeks away!

Provex City Blog Tour: Week 3!

We are halfway through the tour and we're right on track and right on time. Last week went very smoothly and I'm very excited to kick off week 3! I hope you had a great weekend. I had the rare opportunity to get a few hours out with my wife, baby-free, to catch a movie. We saw Silver Linings Playbook, which we both loved. I was excited Jennifer Lawrence grabbed the best actress in a musical or comedy award. She was awesome. And it was such a different role from Katniss in The Hunger Games.

IWSG Wednesday: The Start of Something Great!

Happy first Insecure Writer's Support Group Wednesday for 2013. Thank you again to Alex J. Cavanaugh, the creator of the group. The first Wednesday of every month is dedicated to this group of supportive writers. I can't believe it's already the start to a new year. 2012 went by in a flash. I have a lot to be thankful for and I think I accomplished quite a bit last year. Most importantly, my daughter was born in January of 2012, so that was a major life change. Watching her grow and learn throughout the year has been humbling and inspirational. I also made the leap of changing careers, leaving my 15 years of retail customer service behind for glazing project management. It has not been an easy transition, but very rewarding and I'm learning new things every day. Then I released my first novel, Provex City, on Amazon, and finishing writing the second book in the series, SUSY Asylum. Dear God, I'm tired. What accomplishments and challenges await me in 2013?

Well, I'm starting the year off with a Provex City blog tour throughout the month of January, starting tomorrow. Click on the link above to see the tour dates and stops. SUSY Asylum is going through its final proofread and will be read to be sent to Createspace in about a month's time. I'm hoping for an April release. As soon as SUSY's submitted, I'll finally get to begin writing the third book in the series.

This brings me to a few goals I have for 2013:

• Start and finish the manuscript for Book 3
• Build Provex City's Amazon reviews to 100
• Get Provex City and SUSY Asylum on all the major online retailers
